Getting started
BiggerBlueButton is a premium hosting platform for BigBlueButton, the open-source web conferencing system built for online learning. We run, scale and optimise the servers so you can create rooms, host classes and record meetings without managing any infrastructure yourself.
No. BiggerBlueButton runs entirely in the browser for participants — there is nothing to install. Sign up, create a room, and share the join link. Native iOS and Android apps are also available if you prefer a mobile experience.
The number of concurrent users depends on your plan. Each plan lists its maximum concurrent users, concurrent meetings and room capacity on the pricing page, and you can upgrade at any time as your needs grow.
Yes. We support LTI 1.3, so you can connect BiggerBlueButton to Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard and other learning management systems. We also expose a full API so you can build meetings directly into your own application.
AI chatbot
The built-in AI assistant is a smart chatbot available inside your meetings and across the platform. It answers questions in natural language and helps participants find what they need for meeting and summary.
Yes. The chatbot can generate concise summaries of your meetings and recordings, so you and your attendees can review the key points and action items without rewatching the whole session.

Features & technical
Every plan includes HD audio and video, screen sharing, multi-user whiteboards, breakout rooms, public and private chat, polling, shared notes and presentation upload. Higher tiers add recording, meeting summarization, transcription, attendance reports, custom domains, API access and more.
Yes — custom domains are available for the API and LTI integrations, so you can run your API endpoint and LTI connections on your own domain, on plans that include it.
Yes. The room works in any modern mobile browser, and our dedicated Bluetune apps for iOS and Android give you meetings, group chat, schedules and calls on the go.
Plans with API access let you create rooms, start and join meetings, manage recordings and more programmatically — ideal for integrating live sessions into your own platform.
Recordings & storage
Yes, on plans where recording is enabled. Recordings are processed automatically and made available for playback and download shortly after your meeting ends.
Recordings can be saved in three formats, and you choose which ones to generate — all three are selected by default. Video is available as standard MP4, so you can download, share and archive it anywhere.
Each plan includes a set amount of recording storage, shown on the pricing page. If you need more, additional storage can be added to your subscription.
Security & support
All connections are encrypted end to end over HTTPS, and rooms can be protected with access codes and a waiting-room lobby. Your recordings and data are kept private to your account.
Our team is available by support ticket, email and WhatsApp. You can open a ticket from your dashboard, email support@biggerbluebutton.com, or reach us through the chat widget on any page.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from the account-deletion page. We process these requests promptly in line with our privacy policy.
